students choose or are given a country to make the flag for. computer lesson to find flags and print a copy to look from. must use rulers to make proportions correct.

scratch board 5

do a drawing or print out pictures. students place over scratch board and retrace picture pushing down hard to leave impressions in black paper. scratch with skewers or toothpicks.
